One of four dodgy decisions made by the referee today according to Robert. Robert got up fairly battered and bruised. Bike was badly damaged. He then had a paid win before being beatean by Swist in his final heat.

Robert Ksiezak hoping to kick-start season for Birmingham Brummies
STRUGGLING Birmingham racer Robert Ksiezak is determined to kick-start his season when he faces Stoke Potters in tonight’s Perry Barr Premier Trophy clash (7.30).
Ksiezak, who arrived at the club with a glowing reputation during the winter, has struggled for points so far thanks to a long line of mechanical gremlins.
Now he wants to put his problems behind him with a good display in tonight’s vital clash which Birmingham have to win to keep any hopes of semi-final qualification alive.
He said: “I’m struggling to put my finger on where it’s going wrong.
‘‘The worrying aspect for me is that I don’t know whether it’s purely down to my bikes or me or a combination of both. It really hit home for me when we lost at home to Newport last week; that was a shattering blow and I realise it’s not good enough for the Birmingham fans.
“I felt a bit better in Hungary at the weekend but I need to get it sorted here in Britain.
‘‘I’m working as hard as I can to put it right and I’m looking forward to the home meeting with Stoke when hopefully it will come good for me and the team.
“I blew an engine at press day and I’ve blown another one since, which has hit me hard but I don’t want to sound like I’m making excuses.”
Brummies Boss Graham Drury is keen to see his side banish the memories of their last home meeting which resulted in defeat at the hands of Newport.
He said: “This is a big meeting for us and we know we have to win it, it really is as simple as that. We also know it will be a tough one because Stoke have a super side this season and Phil Morris has started very well for them, he’ll be a massive threat against us for sure.
“We need our fans to get right behind us and hopefully this will be the meeting when we all click as one.
‘‘We were gutted to lose at home to Newport last week so it’s time to put it right.”

Hi mate
Glad to have shaken off the cobwebs having a few meetings back home after my long lay off. Flown back into UK. Couldnt belive how cold it was up here but at least with all the snow about the airports were still open. I'm back early to get everything sorted out before the season starts. Good to have the fixtures out. I means that the season is just around the corner. Official practice at Birmingham is the 11th March

Robert had his last rides in Australia before jetting over to the UK. In the Final Robert finished 2nd over Frank Smart
Hi mate. Hope things are warming up over there as it’s not long to I’ll be back over.
Had first meeting back on Saturday night, went ok I guess, I had a few drama's but hey! One bike didn’t run at all and the other one wasn’t much better, but hey, it was good to get some racing again. I was a bit rusty though, it takes a meeting to blow out the cobwebs after not racing for so long!
Yesterday had a meeting at Kadina, it was a Longtrack meeting, but they also had normal solo's out there. The track was 650m long, so it was pretty big for the speedway bikes, nice and fast, good fun! I got the other bike going and it was good, won all the heats and the final!
Am going to do 1 more meeting here on the 7th Feb., and then pack up and back to the cold!
Robert
Robert made his 2009 compeditive debut in Australia today in the South Australia Championships scored 9 point on his way to the semi final. Finished second in that race where only the winner qualified for the final. Only beaten by the 4 finalist in the heats before a disappointing heat 20 where he was beaten by Poole and Bugeja where a win would have given him first draw in the semi. Good performance considering he hasn't raced since October 5th

Robert has been named in the Line up for the 2009 South Australian Championship at Gillman. In 2008. from the Gillman website
Robert Ksiezak finished third behind Batchelor and Woodward last year and usually does well in big meetings, but he is making his first appearance for the season after recovering from a shoulder injury sustained at the end of the British season. He looked sharp at the Leigh Adams training school two week's ago however so would be looking for a final place a least.
The Championship will be decided over 20 heats with the top three scorers qualifying for the final, along with the winner of a semi-final for the fourth to seventh highest scorers.
